You can find products from top international labels and designers; trendy, creative, traditional and deluxe fashions; exclusive brands, major chains and the latest in cool design in Spain.

You can enjoy a full day’s shopping in the city. All you need to do is make a note of these areas, and there’s noway you can go wrong: Salamanca, Chueca, Centro and Moncloa.

Such a large variety of top quality goods; Manila silk shawls, guitars, capes, hats, embroidery, ceramics… In the centre of Madrid and the streets around the Plaza Mayor square there are a whole host of shops where you can buy gifts for your friends and family, or even for yourself. The typical souvenir shops also offer a range of fun and original articles like mugs, T-shirts and bags.

You can also have fun browsing in the street markets. Don’t miss the famous Rastro market on Sunday mornings, one of the oldest flea markets in Europe. You’ll find everything under the sun among the jumble of stalls: paintings, antiques, toys, leather goods, clothes… If you’re looking for something in particular, why not try the specialist markets such as the coin and stamp market in the Plaza Mayor, the antique book fair on the Cuesta de Moyano hill, or the model market in the Railway Museum?

On the other hand Madrid is ideal for exclusive shopping as well.. As in all the world’s top capital cities, you’ll find here a whole paradise of exclusive collections, luxury labels and sophisticated accessories which are guaranteed to make a day’s shopping an unforgettable event. The “Golden Mile” in the Salamanca district is home to the smartest shops and the most exquisite service, as well as the address of the flagship stores of prestigious designers such as Amaya Arzuaga, Hannibal Laguna and Elena Benarroch, among others. You’ll also find two of the city’s most exclusive shopping centres: the Jardín de Serrano and the ABC Serrano.

Chanel, Dior, Loewe, Prada, Hermès, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Tiffany’s, Cartier… Distinction and glamour are the hallmarks of the establishments to be found in the streets of Serrano, Velázquez, Goya, Ortega y Gasset and Jorge Juan. No detail has been overlooked… and you’ll enjoy impeccable personal attention and service. It will be simply the most perfect day’s shopping.

This wonderful town is no less than the capital and in fact it could be described as a vast shopping centre: a famous pedestrianised ‘Shopping Line’ 5 kilometres long with street markets, craft workshops… There’s plenty to choose from.

Here, you can shop beautiful souvenirs for your beloved ones and the perfect place for this is the famous avenue known as La Rambla. In this area you will find typical gift and souvenir shops with all kinds of objects and ideas inspired by the city. Gaudí’s Art Nouveau style and the colours of Barcelona FC are particularly popular: you will see them on cups, bags, T-shirts, hats, scarves, fans… You will also find establishments of this type near the monuments and most touristy areas of the city, such as the Cathedral, the Sagrada Familia and the Gothic Quarter.

On the other hand for those who want to take home one of Barcelona’s traditional gastronomic products, the Boquería Market is very ideal. Alternatively, head for Plaza del Pi square, which holds a traditional food fair on the first and third weekend of every month.

As for prestigious shopping Barcelona hosts the most exclusive shops in the straight avenues and modern architecture around the passeig de Gràcia and the Rambla de Catalunya. Exclusive national and international fashion designers, exquisite jewellers, prestigious art galleries, specialist bookshops and shops selling all kinds of gifts can be found alongside modern restaurants and cafeterias in an elegant and bourgeois atmosphere.
